About the Artist

Denni Gonzalez is a self-taught Afro-Latina visual artist hailing from the United States. Originally born in raised in New Jersey, she is now based mainly in Central Florida.

Denni’s career began as a young teen back at the start of the social media age. She would edit photos, flyers, and social media profiles for classmates. After several years of small local projects, she was able to evolve her skillset into a career designing for Fortune 500 companies and a number of international clients.

It is no wonder that Denni’s love and deep interest of the arts began at an early age. She was fortunate enough to have been raised in a family full of creatives, including artists, musicians, designers, and an art professor. As a multi-disciplinary artist, Denni’s work is mainly in genres like abstract and pop-surrealism. She draws her strongest inspiration from artists like Salvador Dahli, Frida Kahlo, Tim Burton, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

The main goal of Denni’s artistic work is to continue to illustrate the voices and feelings of the often unheard through visuals that are an escape from the everyday.
